There was 1 Hawaiian and Pacific Islander student enrolled in Richland Parish schools in 2023-24 school year

There was one Hawaiian and Pacific Islander student enrolled in Richland Parish schools in the 2023-24 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Richland Parish welcomed 3,369 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students comprised less than 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the parish.

Mangham High School was the only school in the parish which enrolled Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students, welcoming one student in the 2023-24 school year.

According to a 2023 Scholaroo study, Louisiana's educational performance is among the lowest in the nation, ranking second-to-last behind Arizona. The state ranked poorly in key metrics such as school quality, student achievement, and teacher-student ratios.
