There were 37 Hispanic students enrolled in Richland Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.8% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Richland Parish School District welcomed 2,705 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 1.4% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the district.

Richland Parish School District roughly covers schools within Richland Parish and has a main office in Rayville.

Among the 12 schools in Richland Parish School District, Holly Ridge Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of eight students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
