There were 53 Hispanic students enrolled in West Carroll Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 7% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that West Carroll Parish School District welcomed 1,809 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 2.9% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the district.

West Carroll Parish School District roughly covers schools within West Carroll Parish and has a main office in Oak Grove.

Among the five schools in West Carroll Parish School District, Forest School and Oak Grove Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 16 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
