There were two Hispanic students enrolled in Tensas Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 100% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Tensas Parish School District welcomed 330 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 0.6% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

Tensas Parish School District roughly covers schools within Tensas Parish and has a main office in St. Joseph.

Among the three schools in Tensas Parish School District, Tensas High School and Tensas Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of one student.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.
