There were three American Indian students enrolled in City of Monroe School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 25% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that City of Monroe School District welcomed 8,164 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

City of Monroe School District roughly covers schools within Ouachita Parish and has a main office in Monroe.

Among the 21 schools in City of Monroe School District, Barkdull Faulk Elementary School, Sallie Humble Elementary School, and Robert E. Lee Junior High School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of one student.
