2021-22 School Year Enrollment: 182 9th grade students welcomed in Union Parish schools

There were 182 ninth grade students enrolled in Union Parish schools in the 2021-22 school year, 14.6% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Union Parish High School welcomed the most ninth grade students in the parish.

Within Union Parish schools, the most students were found in 11th grade classes, while 12th grade classes were the smallest.

Statewide, Union Parish ranked 20th lowest in enrollment numbers. It was ranked 19th lowest the year before.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
