There were 2,880 students enrolled in Franklin Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 1.6% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 52% of them were boys, and 48% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were Black or African American, representing 51.3% of the Franklin Parish School District total enrollment.

Among the six schools in Franklin Parish School District, Franklin Parish High School recorded the highest enrollment of 754 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021-22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
