ULM baseball opened Sun Belt Conference play with a decisive 12-4 win over Texas State on March 13. Jake Haggard and Dayne Wray each hit three-run home runs as head coach Ford Pemberton praised his team’s performance.
The University of Louisiana Monroe track and field team begins its outdoor season at the McNeese Cowboy Relays in Lake Charles on March 13-14. The event features competition from McNeese State University and Sun Belt Conference rival Ragin’ Cajuns.
Saturday, March 14 will see these former Northeast Louisiana area high school stars in competition.
