The University of Louisiana Monroe Warhawks are set to participate in the Blazer Beach Bash, hosted by the University of Alabama at Birmingham, beginning April 10. The team, currently holding a record of five wins and eighteen losses, will open play against Mercer in a Sun Belt Conference matchup at 8 a.m. on Friday. Later that day, they will face host UAB at noon.
This tournament offers the Warhawks an opportunity to improve their standing as they continue through their season. The event is significant for both conference rankings and overall team development.
On Saturday, the Warhawks will continue competition with matches against Houston Christian University at 8 a.m. and Tulane University at 2 p.m. These games follow recent performances by ULM in the Islanders Classic, where they narrowly lost to Tarleton State before being swept by Pepperdine and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
The team’s previous outing saw them fall short in several closely contested matches but also provided experience against strong opponents from other conferences.
Looking ahead, ULM is scheduled to conclude its regular season with another event hosted by Tulane in New Orleans starting April 17.
