The University of Louisiana Monroe Athletics Department and the Sun Belt Conference announced on March 13 the Warhawks’ football schedule for the 2026 season. The upcoming slate includes six home games at Malone Stadium, featuring three matchups against other Louisiana teams for the first time since 2002.
The schedule begins with four nonconference games. ULM will travel to Mississippi State on September 5, marking their first meeting since 1997, followed by a road game at UAB on September 12. The Warhawks will then return home to face Southeastern Louisiana in their home opener on September 19 and host former Sun Belt opponent Florida Atlantic University (FAU) on September 26.
Conference play starts with an away game at South Alabama on October 3. After a bye week, ULM will host Louisiana Tech—making its first trip to Malone Stadium as a Sun Belt opponent and its first visit since 2000—on October 17. The team will then travel to Troy on October 24 before returning home to play Southern Miss on October 31.
In November, ULM opens with an away game against Arkansas State on November 7 and hosts the Ragin’ Cajuns in a midweek matchup on November 12. The regular season concludes with an away game at Appalachian State (App State) on November 21 and a final home contest against Marshall on November 28.
The Warhawks’ schedule features seven teams that participated in bowl games during the previous season and five teams that finished with winning records in 2025. Season tickets for the upcoming campaign are now available for purchase or renewal, while promotional days for each home game will be announced later.
Looking ahead, fans can expect competitive matchups throughout the season as ULM faces several strong opponents both within and outside of conference play.
