There were six Asian students enrolled in Madison Parish schools in the 2023-24 school year, 20% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Madison Parish welcomed 1,251 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.5% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the parish.

Among the five schools within the parish, Tallulah Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of two students.

Louisiana's educational performance is among the lowest in the nation, according to a WalletHub analysis. The state was ranked 47th overall, based on factors such as class size, student performance, funding, school safety, and teacher qualifications.
