There were six Asian students enrolled in Morehouse Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 100% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Morehouse Parish School District welcomed 3,255 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.

Morehouse Parish School District roughly covers schools within Morehouse Parish and has a main office in Bastrop.

Among the eight schools in Morehouse Parish School District, Bastrop High School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of three students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.
