There were three Hispanic students enrolled in East Carroll Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that East Carroll Parish School District welcomed 789 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 0.4% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the district.

East Carroll Parish School District roughly covers schools within East Carroll Parish and has a main office in Lake Providence.

Among the four schools in East Carroll Parish School District, General Trass High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of two students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.
