There were two Asian students enrolled in East Carroll Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that East Carroll Parish School District welcomed 789 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.3% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.

East Carroll Parish School District roughly covers schools within East Carroll Parish and has a main office in Lake Providence.

Among the four schools in East Carroll Parish School District, Griffin Middle School Academy and Southside Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of one student.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.
