There were four Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students enrolled in City of Monroe School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that City of Monroe School District welcomed 8,164 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students comprised 0% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.

City of Monroe School District roughly covers schools within Ouachita Parish and has a main office in Monroe.

Among the 21 schools in City of Monroe School District, Martin Luther King Junior High School, Lexington Elementary School, Neville High School, and Minnie Ruffin Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of one student.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
