Larry Bratton, who is currently serving as Ouachita Parish's District C Police Juror, has received the endorsement of RED PAC, a group that seeks to elect conservatives at the local level. RED PAC has chosen to endorse Bratton's re-election bid based on what they say are his commitments to conserve private property rights, champion government transparency, uphold fiscal discipline, and advocate for rural economic development.

According to the Louisiana Secretary of State, Ouachita Parish is holding elections on Saturday, October 14. This includes the Police Jury Board elections, which will elect police jurors for six districts. Bratton, a Republican, will be seeking re-election in District C. Police jurors serve four-year terms.

District C encompasses the incorporated area of the City of Monroe, West Monroe, and the Town of Sterlington.

As both a legislative and administrative body, the police jury board is responsible for, among other things, enacting ordinances, setting policy, preparing the budget, and deciding how money is spent.

According to his official bio on the Parish's website, Bratton's principle focuses during his time on the Police Jury Board have been economic growth, infrastructure, and safety.

In the release announcing the endorsements of Bratton and other candidates across the state, Charlie Kolean, Chief Strategist of RED PAC, stated that "it's crucial now more than ever, to back candidates who aren't afraid to stand up for their conservative beliefs. The candidates we've endorsed have proven time and again their dedication to principles that put the interests of their communities first."

According to the Parish's website, Bratton is a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School and Northeast Louisiana State University. Bratton works at AT&T and is serving as their engineering manager for the Monroe and Alexandria areas. In addition to his time serving as a police juror, Bratton has also served the community on several boards and in multiple advisory positions.
