The Union Parish Chamber is proud to announce that in partnership with the Office of State Parks, we have expanded our "Christmas in the Park" at Lake D'Arbonne State Park from 4 to 8 nights, Dec 3-10th, 5:30-9:00 pm. Last year was a tremendous success and we plan this year's event to be even bigger and better. Our prices will remain the same, $10 per car, $20 per bus.
Our sponsors have expanded this year, headed by our Title Sponsor, Union General Hospital.
Our Gold Sponsors include Enviro Rentals, Louisiana National Bank, Hampton Law, Marion State Bank, Sheriff Dusty Gates, Read Lumber, Origin Bank, Benoit Ford, Town of Farmerville, Union Parish Tourism Commission, Sparklight and Reeves Memorial Medical Center. Thanks to all our sponsors for making this event possible.
Not only have we expanded the dates from 4 to 8 nights, we have added additional arts, crafts, food vendors and a stage area in the FEMA field area. Plus we have dedicated the drive toward the camping area (Bethlehen Lane) to local churches, of which we have 13 already committed. Several of the churches have volunteered their choirs to sing during the weekends. A schedule will be posted as we get closer to the event.
Now that the area merchants have experienced last year's event, we have many more wanting to participate. But there still are site locations available, so if you want to display decorations for your business, please contact our Chamber (318) 368-3947.
Much more details to share with you, as we approach the event. Again, mark your calendar for Dec 3-10th, 5:30-9:00 pm at the Lake D'Arbonne State Park. Make plans to bring your entire family and experience this wonderful display.
And don't forget that the Chamber is also sponsoring the "Christmas on the Square" on Dec 3rd, 2:00 until after the Christmas parade. We will have vendors, Christmas Tree lighting, Farmerville High School Band and Christmas Parade.
Then, after the parade, you can run out to the State Park and catch our "Christmas in the Park" extravaganza, open from 5:30 until 9:00 pm.

We are now within 13 days from our "Christmas in the Park" event, Dec 3-10th. The startup in the last few weeks has been amazing, camping slots are booking fast & merchant slot commitments continues to grow.
Sooo, if you are planning to camp or set up merchant exhibits, you need to be reserving your slots.
To reserve your vendor or merchant slot, call the Chamber office 318-368-3947 and we will give you a reference number of the slot that you will have. You can reserve multiple slots if you think you need more room.
