Homeschool Library Express (HSLE) aims to meet the needs of homeschoolers and their families through learning how to use library services as well as enjoy recreational programs each month. In adhering to the mission statement of the Ouachita Parish Public Library, to advance literacy, inspire lifelong learning, and strengthen our community by serving everyone in Ouachita Parish, HSLE creates a valued partnership and an avenue of social, recreational, and educational interaction between the library and the homeschool community. HSLE has recieved national recognition from the American Library Association Public Programs office
