Congresswoman Julia Letlow, who represents Louisiana’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted her ongoing legislative efforts and support for former President Donald Trump in a series of social media posts.
On July 17, 2025, Letlow stated, “President Trump is creating a more prosperous America – just like he did the first time.” In another post later that day, she emphasized her collaboration with local officials: “My office works closely with the Lake Providence Port Commission on improving rail and port infrastructure in Northeast Louisiana. Thanks for coming by to share details of the great work being done!”
Letlow also addressed recent legislative developments related to tax policy. On July 17, she wrote: “The Working Family Tax Cuts passed by Congress deliver on President Trump’s promises:

Letlow has served as a member of Congress since 2021 after replacing Ralph Abraham. She previously held a seat in the Louisiana House of Representatives and was born in Monroe, Louisiana in 1981. She currently resides in Start and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a BA in 2002.
