Congresswoman Julia Letlow, who represents Louisiana’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used her social media platform to address legislative initiatives and respond to a tragic event.

On August 27, 2025, Letlow posted about her support for service industry workers: “Hard-earned tips should stay in workers’ pockets. With the Big Beautiful Bill, I supported real relief that puts more money in the hands of our service industry workers.”

Later that same day, she commented on a school shooting in Minneapolis: “My prayers are with the students, faculty, and families affected by the horrible shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis.”

On August 28, 2025, Letlow elaborated on her reasons for supporting the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” highlighting several key provisions: “I supported the One Big Beautiful Bill because of its pro-family policies.

At age 42, she resides in Start and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2002.
