Congresswoman Julia Letlow, who represents Louisiana’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets highlighting economic developments in Louisiana, recognition for parents and grandparents, and support for former President Donald Trump.
On July 26, 2025, Letlow commented on new investments in the state’s economy: “With projects like Meta’s new AI data center on the way, the sky’s the limit for Louisiana’s economy. Kudos to @LAGovJeffLandry and President Trump for steering our state and nation in the right direction!”
The following day, she acknowledged National Parents’ Day with a message of appreciation: “Being a mom is an incredible joy and blessing. Happy National Parents’ Day to all of our loving parents and grandparents who play a key role in shaping future generations.” (July 27, 2025)
Later that same day, Letlow expressed her support for Donald Trump’s approach to trade policy: “President Trump isn’t a novice – he’s a brilliant negotiator whose leveling out our markets and producing new and improved trade deals. @POTUS” (July 27, 2025)
Letlow has served as Louisiana’s 5th District representative since replacing Ralph Abraham in 2021. She previously held office in the Louisiana House of Representatives. Born in Monroe in 1981 and currently residing in Start, Letlow graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a bachelor’s degree in 2002.
