Congresswoman Julia Letlow, who represents Louisiana’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently highlighted her office’s commitment to constituent service and local engagement through a series of posts on social media.
On April 7, 2026, Letlow posted: “In our office, we want to make sure you’re taken care of – just like we recently helped Anne from Baton Rouge! Please call our office if we can ever be of service.”
The following day, April 8, she commented on national tax policy: “Even the @nytimes admits the truth: President Trump’s tax relief is helping middle class families keep more of their hard-earned paychecks.”
Later that same day, Letlow reflected on community engagement at a local event: “It’s always good to be home. Loved joining friends at the @monroe_chamber for a conversation about creating more opportunities for the next generation!”
Letlow has represented Louisiana’s 5th District in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Ralph Abraham. She was born in Monroe, Louisiana in 1981 and currently resides in Start. Prior to her tenure in Congress, Letlow served in the Louisiana House of Representatives and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002.
