On Saturday, March 29, former Franklin Parish High School standout Ashlyn Rodgers’ current college team, the Mississippi Choctaws, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Valdosta State Blazers.

The game took place at Steel’s Diamond at Blazer Park. This was their third matchup against the Blazers this season.

The Choctaws’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 4 p.m. at MC Softball Complex against Christian Brothers Buccaneers.
