On Thursday, May 15, former Sterlington High School standout Cole Thompson’s current collegiate team the Delta State Statesmen lost 3-7 against the West Florida Argonauts in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Henley Field at 2:05 p.m. and was the first matchup against the West Florida Argonauts in the tournament.

The Delta State Statesmen’s next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 2 p.m. at Henley Field.
