On Thursday, May 8, former Franklin Parish High School standout Ashlyn Rodgers’ current collegiate team the Mississippi Choctaws lost 0-1 against the Saint Leo Lions in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Saint Leo Lions in the tournament.

The Mississippi Choctaws’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 3 p.m. at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium.
