On Thursday, May 8, former Franklin Parish High School standout Ashlyn Rodgers’ current college team, the Mississippi Choctaws, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saint Leo Lions.
The game took place at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.
The Choctaws’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 3 p.m. at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium against West Florida Argonauts.
